This resource is for rangatahi (young people) and their whānau. It includes the contact details for a selection of helplines that can be called when a young person is feeling low and would like to talk to someone. Some of these services can also provide tautoko/advice to whānau and/or caregivers.

Below are the contact details for helplines that can be called if the young person is feeling low and would like to talk to someone. In the case of imminent suicide risk or concerns, it is best for young people/whānau to contact the Police on 111 as they can respond immediately to the situation.
