Ko Ingarangi, ko Kōtirana, ko Aerana te whakapaparanga mai. Ko Tāhuna te whenua tupu. Kei Hāwea au e noho ana. Ko Maree Inder tōku ingoa.
I’m the Chief Executive of Te Aho and a registered social worker. Over the years, I’ve worked across clinical, leadership, and research roles in mental health and suicide prevention. My mahi is anchored in a deep commitment to walking alongside individuals, whānau, and communities through some of life’s most challenging times.

Leadership, for me, is about making space for others to thrive, building trust, working together, and holding a clear, shared vision to reduce the impact of suicide in Aotearoa. This kaupapa is both professional and personal, and it shapes how I approach building services that are effective, culturally grounded, and responsive to the needs of the people they serve.

Nature keeps me grounded. I’m lucky to live in Central Otago, where I’m surrounded by lakes and mountains. No matter the season, you’ll usually find me outside, making the most of it.
