Talofa lava, I’m of Samoan descent and was born and raised here in Tāmaki Makaurau. I work as a Clinical Advisor for the CPRS team and am also a Provider for Aoake te Rā. I’m a Registered Nurse with over 17 years of experience in mental health, including forensic and crisis and acute inpatient services.
My work centres on mental health, Pacific psychology, suicide prevention and postvention. I’m passionate about weaving Pacific Indigenous knowledge with clinical practice, creating space for healing that’s both culturally grounded and clinically sound. At the heart of my mahi is a commitment to working in partnership with whānau, especially within our Māori and Pacific communities. I believe that real change happens when Mātauranga, lived experience and clinical knowledge are held together with care and respect.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mum to two young children, and I treasure time with my wider aiga. My faith in God anchors me. It’s what keeps me steady, hopeful, and connected to the heart of this work.
