Ko Taylor-Rose McLauchlan tōku ingoa. Ko Ngāpuhi te iwi. Ko Ngāti Hine rāua Ngāti Manu ngā hapū. Nō Īrani ētahi o ōku tīpuna.
I am a registered occupational therapist based in Tāmaki Makaurau on the North Shore, with extensive experience in community child and adolescent mental health. I feel privileged to walk alongside tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau, providing support in times of need. Much of my work has been in the acute space, which has deepened my commitment to suicide prevention.
At Te Aho, I work as a Clinical Advisor for Te Oranga Tonutanga, grounding my practice in manaaki, whanaungatanga, and tino rangatiratanga. I am passionate about collaborative work and keeping young people at the heart of what I do to create meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of work, I thrive through creative expression in many forms; whether through painting, sewing, singing, or nurturing my indoor plants. Music is a constant companion in all facets of my life, often finding myself leading waiata. I take joy in creating moments of lightness and laughter, especially when walking alongside and supporting others in challenging mahi.
